Do some searching in this forum and the powertrain forum. There have been tons of posts on it.

I use Proline MT90 in my 5spd wrx and have had no problems with it yet. You can get it from JSCSpeed for probably the best price I've seen.

I've read about people doing some oil mixing. Some people are harder on their tranny so they put some Redline shock proof in theirs. Some oil is not very viscous so it is great for milage, but not as good for the synchros meshing up. Some oil allows very good shifting but isn't as good w/MPG. I concluded that MT90 in the tranny is good for all purpose usage.

As for rear diff, I use 75W90.

Best to do some searching though as the STI is not the same as the WRX.

decided to go with Redline MTL, works like a charm. the shifting is so much more precise and easier. thanks for your insight though.
