    Question Oil grade/type specified in Europe?

    Could a European member please check their owner's manual and tell us if an ACEA A3/B3 motor oil is specified? What weight(s) for 10C-45C operating range, and what change interval? I searched for ACEA on the forums and didn't come up with the info.

    a quick stab....many of the ACEA A3 oils these days are a sythetic 5w30 oil. Europe favors extended oil change intervals. Conventional oils don't cut it.

    You don't need to worry about the ACEA "B" category requirement technically because it's for light duty diesels (such as my car).
