Just picked up an 04 wrx. Got a check engine light today and brought it to advance auto they ran the code and said it was running too lean. The mods are as follows...
Turbosmart BOV
K&N drop in
ProDrive muffler
The other mods don't effect the powertrain.
Any help on what i should do would be great.
Just an update..
I popped the hood and was looking around when I noticed that the hose comming out of the T-valve, that was running to the boost gauge, was torn and all but disconnected. I installed a new hose then disonnected the battery to reset the CEL and it seems the problem is solved. Good thing because I just got the car last night and was a little pissed.![]()
if you can get stock wrx bov and sell that aftermarket one you'd be good. Plus have some cash for a downpipe!

on newer cars, unplugging the battery won't reset the light.
