    Just installed LED blinkers but....

    I just installed some LED bulbs for my blinkers and now for some reason my blinkers blink oddly fast. Like ricy fast.. anyone have any ideas? I searchd and cant realy find anyone with this problem. I have an 06 WrX if that helps... someone said something about a electronic flasher.. anyone know how hard that is to install? Do i have to wire it in?

    I think the problem is the bulb is drawing too much current. IIRC thats what makes it flash to fast. My guess would be to try a different bulb. Try Google.

    Usually LED's are low draw and may need a load equalizer for them to work properly. You can get them at custom motorcycle shops as lots of Harley owners replace their stock lights with LEDs. Kuryakin makes one and there are sure to be others.
    Mods: VF34,TMIC, Up pipe, Dp, full catless, Ecutek, Stoptec brakes, DMS 40 coil overs, ALK, CUSCO subframe, Sparco seats, Exedy twin plate and more that I can't remember.

    +1 for the blub, make sure its making contact with all the contact points in the socket, you may have to move/bend them on the bulb

    The blinkers don;t draw enough current, therefore they will blink faster.

    The blinking speed should be proportional to the current. So if these bulbs only draw half of the stock current, they will blink twice as fast

    led's carry almost no resistance so they blink like its a busted standard bulb.

    you can wire in a resistor to fix that.
