    Which Optima do I need?

My battery finally crapped out on me yesterday morning. The car is 4 years old with 70K so it just needs a new one. I'm going to go with the Optima red top battery, but I need to know which specific model I should get.
    Thanks for the help.

I got my Yellow Top from Remy Battery model D35.

You want the 35 size part#8020-164 Red Top http://www.remybattery.com/Optima-Ba...10-35-910.html

If you ever run accessories off the battery when the engine is not running you might want to consider the Yellow Top though as it is a deep cycle.

Why will I need the reverse terminal one? My positive terminal is on the left and my negative on the right.
Also, I was considering the yellow top also, but unsure if I really needed it.

The 8020-164 Optima red top is what's in my '02.
The yellow top is a deep cycle battery, which has a few different qualities
when compared to a red top starting battery. The yellow top is intended
to be drained down fairly low and then recharged fairly slowly. My guess
is that you'll get a somewhat lesser life out of the yellow top when used
    to start a car.

My only concern is that I always listen to the radio in my car while I wash it. I thought the yellow top would be better suited for this. Are you saying that the red top would do fine in that capacity?
    Thanks for the help.

    yeah it will be fine.

i have my stock battery and i listen to the radio for hrs at a time and it still starts up fine after. however i have the stock system

so if you have a system put in youll problably be better off with the red or yellow top.

Guess it depends upon how much "radio" you've got. If it's factory, don't bother
with a yellow top. If it's significantly stouter, you may want to do a deep cycle.
I'm just concerned that you'll get like 2 years out of the battery (yellow top) and
wonder why. The last red top I had in the race car went about 7 years- I only
replaced it out of fear that it would crap out (at the worst possible time with my
luck). I'm sure I could have gotten another year or two out of it......
