    Looks like that is just the sealer on the outside to help keep moisture out.

    They're not cracks. What you see is part of their pad manufacturing process.
    Granted, you shouldn't see those sorts of details, but I'm not here to critique
    their product. The pads are not structurally effected by what you're seeing.....
