    I need some HELP

The past few days after I would drive my car somewhere and get out I would smell "burt maple syrup" I am being literal...thats what it smelt like. And I would see some smoke comming out of the front of the hood.

The needle for my engine temp was all the way to the top!

I have pictures, it seems to be the two caps with orange stickers on them that are above the fan and the other one is more towards the intercooler, that are causing the problem.

The front one smokes and the rear one makes a gurgling noise as if someone is boiling water to make pasta.

This is the one that smokes ^^^

This is the one that gurgles ^^^

Any idea what the problem could be...sorry in advance if this is a n00b question or problem.

I know this is gonna sound really n00b but do I flush the water out like I would the oil? I am not sure what I would have to open up under my engine bay in order to flush the water out.

Your radiator cap isn't on all the way. press all the way down and turn, it is kinda hard. The warning should not be to the side, it should be facing the interior or the head lights.

Thanks a lot! I will go out and do that right now, thanks...you think that could be making the coolant leak? or causing whatever the problem is?

Yeah looks loose, make sure its nice and tight. That could be all of your problem. I was messing around with my intake and loosened the cap before, found my engine bay smoking and gurgling..lol
