My condolences. That is unfortunate to see another bugeye gone, but just think, this could be an opportunity for something better, like a blobeye . If some old lady had not ran a redlight, totalling my car and putting my head through the windshield, I would probably still be driving around a camry, and still neglecting my seatbelt.

And extra credit for taking pictures!

Glad you're OK man, but did you happen to hit the old lady in the driver's door so the rest of us don't have to worry about her on the road?

"My car used to have a raw fuel smell that the dealer couldnt ever find, hmmmm"

And from the looks of it that'll buff right out.

Last but not least glad no one was really hurt in that wreck. From the way it appears it left the road, you can be glad Subaru has a very good passenger compartment. If you would have been knocked out by the collision it could have been much worst.

Any chance you have any post fire pictures? I like looking at burnt up cars to see what survived and what didnt.

that really stinks, but goes to proove the car is a good car by you still being able to walk away from it! alot of people dont realize how great a car is till you've been in an accident in it. Glad to see you are alright though!

Things will work out for ya! I pray for a speedy recovery!

Not normally. I guess only when you flip them. Though once you flip it, it's dead anyway, so the fire is only helping to dispose of it.

Once the car is flipped, as long as I have time to get out, it can burn all it wants. Atleast then you dont have to worry about the insurance company not totaling it.

Wow that's messed up. Like everyone else has been saying... glad you're ok and hope you have no permenant injuries.

Also, hope you're able to sue the piss out of her/her insurance company. If you get another WRX, at least you'll have the extra .5 L displacement. In the meantime, take care of yourself and get a good lawyer!
