I drove the back up on ramps, and now I'm jacking up the front and putting jack stands under both sides.. I placed the jack stands dirrectly in front of where the factory jack goes. Is this a good place for them? I don't want to bend anything with it sitting up on the stands.

I lke to put them on the frame. I think the jacking points will work fine. But I must ask, if you are going to jack the car using the jack point, how are you going to exchange the stands for the jack if you'r eputting the stands in the sam place?

I'm changing the differential & trany(5mt) oil... do I just change the rear dif. or can I change the front dif. too?? I can't even find it![]()
not the jack points, right in front of them.. I'm sticking the jack stand dirrectly infront of the jack, then pulling the jack out and jacking up the other sideOriginally posted by MisterX

is the front diff lubricated by the transmission oil or what?
Yeah, the front and center diffs are integrated with the tranny.
