Fuel feed issue

Hi everyone,
I've had a nagging fuel feed issue on my 02 WRX. Started as an obvious starvation issue a couple weeks back with tank near empty. Filled it and was ok for awhile then got worse. thought it was maybe crud in tank. Pressure tested normal and regulator vacuum plug off tested normal. I replaced pump with a Walbro with new sock and new fuel cap and checked tank for crud and it was good.
..still same starvation issues but runs better, I'm now thinking t's a venting issue. Do the vents plug up on these cars? would a smoke test diagnose that?
Any help would be appreciated

Tested fuel pressure all across the range. WOT gives me 65 to 70 psi. Car still stuttering and showing fuel starvation at above half throttle.
I'm thinking now that I need to put a wideband in the car and test AFR across the range. Maybe I'm not getting the volume
due to restriction or venting in the system?
