Shell Rotella T6 5W-40 in the WRX.

There are many threads on this subject, including a very informative sticky.

For an older bike I'd use the Rotella 15W-40 rather than the T6 5W-40. The former is less expensive than the 5W anyway and you can use it to top up the car. If the bike is modern I'd go ahead with 5W in everything though.

    Oil

I should say also I've gotten great deals on both 15W T and 5W T6 Rotella using Amazon prime. I have prime anyway for the shipping and. streaming. Saves me trips to Walmart for oil.

Olive oil is among the most flim-flammed products available. My family owned a mill, I've heard all the stories. I strongly suspect commercially available olive oil, at least in the US, is not 100% olive oil.

Mind you, I've got an HPLC and could go about proving my suspicions, but two things are stopping me:

    1. It's a lot of work.
    2. I don't care.
