    Exhaust cam slipped and spun?

I'm in the middle of my timing belt change and what I had holding my lower driver side cam(exhaust cam?) came undone and it slipping and seems to spin 2 times maybe less very quickly. Is this as simple and turning the bottom counter clockwise and top cam clockwise to line the makings back up? Or is it more complicated then that?
