Should you START?!?! This car's doomed if it's had 87 octane in it it's whole life.

Im only planning on keeping it for around a year. Then ill be selling it as a down payment toward a new sti. Just a temp car. But I wanted a temp to be a wrx at least. Just wondering going forward on the gas.

Is the car even going to have its trade in value more then what you owe? Why didn't you just save up for the sti in the first place instead of being out "x" amount of money
And yes premium is REQUIRED. No less than 91

93 octane is preferred, if not available to you, then 91. I mean is this a real question? Not trying to be a **** here. But the sticker inside the fuel door states "premium fuel only", as well as the owners manual, and well.....common sense should tell you that a turbo'd sports car should take high test.

lol. Might as well give bio diesel a shot if you have been running a wrx or sti on 87 octane for 70k miles.

Correct, 2014+ Forester XT does not require premium although it is reccomended.

Definitely put premium in your WRX if you are counting on it to have some trade value in a year, it will be worth a lot more with a working engine!

Those are nice cars. There's going to be exceptions. Any other new volvo doesn't require it though

    Corn fuel ftw though
