Whats up guys,
I have a '13 WRX with a CNT CBE. No other mods at this point. Car has 13k and is driven very conservatively.
Lately I've been noticing that when I park the car and come back to it when it's still warm and turn the key, it turns over no problem but almost struggles to get started and up to normal operating revs. It's gotten to the point where I feel like I need to blip the throttle to get the revs up and keep it from dying, although it never does die. Once I blip the throttle, then everything is back to normal.
My flex pipe on the CNT leaks. Is it a possibility that there is an issue with backpressure? This is my first turbo car, so forgive me if that question is a little far fetched. A buddy also suggested it could be the fuel filter, but it's a newer car and only runs Chevron 91 so I don't see how that could be a factor, but it doesn't hurt to ask.
I plan on going stage 1+ with TP tune and AEM CAI in Jan, and if this is something that needs to be seen by the dealer then I'm going to wait to flash.
Any input is greatly appreciated.
Cheers and Merry Christmas,
Zak
