    2015 wrx engine cover rattle.

Was driving around today and heard some crazy rattling. Upon inspection under the hood, I found one of the front posts to the engine cover has snapped off in the rubber socket holder. One is still attached so it's not flopping around or anything. Just one corner of it is vibrating.

Has this happened to any of you guys? Wondering if the dealer is gonna order me a new engine cover? It looks like a clean plastic break, no fixing it.

This is one gremlin I have yet to encounter. I am sure the dealer will replace it.

6k on mine and no engine cover issues yet. Had the gas door realigned and some rattles on the clear plastic gauge cover on cold days though.

I usually don't buy a 1st run model but I couldn't resist these wrx reviews. We will find out all the issues the first year or so. Most I feel will be resolved with tsb's or warranties. There has not been a WRX/STI without quirks so it's just expected characteristics.
