    hard brake pedal feel

    hi...i own a 2013 subaru wrx ...when using the barkes,sometimes the brake pedal feels very hard..almost like it is locked in place. Should get it checked out or is this someting not to be worried about?
    The car has 14400 miles on it and has had matinence as required.

    Your still under warranty, bring it to the dealer can't hurt.
    I'm getting stainless steel brake lines, and clutch cable. They improve performance and feel.
    There inexpensive and easy to install, you might consider adding them to your car.

    By chance it doesn't happen if you're pumping the brakes correcr?
    If you're pumping the brakes you're building up pressure and making the pedal hard but should also make braking response tighter as well
    If it's a stiff pedal and poor braking then there's an issue
    Due to mileage I would first guess a caliper slide needs to be re lubed and cleaned off, kinked brake hose or twisted brake hose restricting fluid to the calipers
