disabling bug eye factory alarm and electric door locks.

Is it as simple as just pulling a fuse? I'd like to be able to lock my doors with the lock button without risking alarm set off by unlocking with the key( my fob is DOA) and other than buying another ignition key I'm not really sure I am going to replace my remote...I've just never really needed it. But since I can't lock the hatch manually I need the button....which leaves me with meep meep meep meep.

Or do I need to disable the alarm under the center console. I just don't want to disable the electric locks in the process lol

I believe you can disable it by:
    Setting off the alarm
stick the key in the ignition
turn the key from off to on position 15 times(fast).

Something like that, it's somewhere in the manual. I had to do then is my fob died.
