Special tool to remove/install spark plug?

It's very difficult to change spark plug in my 2002 wrx. There is almost no space to put a socket drive. Trying to put a torque wrench in there is even harder.

Other than using U-joint adapter, are there other tools to make it easier?

On ebay I see a "90 degree gearless socket drive". I don't understand how it works from the photo. Do these things work?

One of my friends here turned me on to flexible sockets.
They can't handle a lot of torque like 30ftlbs but should work on spark plugs.
    I'll find the link.
