Have you tried letting the fuel pump prime before starting the car?
This is a discussion on Any Subaru techs on these boards ? Need help with 2015 WRX . within the General Maintenance, Troubleshooting & Accidents. forums, part of the Tech & Modifying & General Repairs category; Have you tried letting the fuel pump prime before starting the car?...
Watching this thread for results. I'm sorry to hear you ate having issues, man. I've been considering a 2015 WRX...
is this issue wrx specific? or I guess since Forester owners have it more like FA20 specific? are 2015 STI owners having the same issue? might be something to look into. either way the stealership is your best bet unfortunately

So in the end they replaced the car? I needed to revive this.
I had the same issue this morning. She's 5 days old with 120 miles. It cranked forever and wouldn't start, tried a 2nd time & I could tell it wasn't going to again so I pumped the gas peddle a few times whIle cranking & it sputtered to life. Add my issue of reverse being darn near impossibe when cold and I'm starting to be concerned about my purchase.
I may chalk some of this up to the 93 with ethanol around here. My Si always ran and started better with 91 no ethanol but I no longer commute to where that was available.
I'm having this same issue... I got my WRX on Oct 13th and have had the issue 5 or 6 times now. I took it to Subaru about a week ago, but they haven't been able to recreate the issue. They said they will be keeping it until they can. I'm driving a Forester for now.
Soo , I traded in the 2015 limited last Monday for a 2016 STI . Saturday I completed the 1,000 mile break in , I had the week off from work Today I was at the local dealer for my break in oil change . Guess who I ran into .
Still looking good .
364 days after I dropped her off there she still is !
