14' WRX - Random starting problem?

    Hey guys,

I've got a 14' WRX that I bought new in October of 13'.

Randomly, the car will not start. I'll go to start it, sounds like its about to start, then cuts off. Won't start back up unless I take the key completely out, and that's only sometimes. If it starts back up, it just barely starts and has a very rough idle/start up for the first second or two. Other times, it won't even start at all. Turn key, and nothing. It'll take several attempts of taking the key out and trying to start it up before it goes. I thought I was going to have to call a tow the other day. It randomly does this. Only time it seems to happen is when the car sits out in the sun for extended periods of time, and again, its only sometimes. It never happens in the morning or night. Its always the afternoon, like 3-4'ish.

I've brought it into the dealership twice already. First time, they thought it was a problem with the keys and they replaced some sort of module. Next, they replaced the ignition system. I'm about to call them tomorrow to schedule ANOTHER appointment.

At what point does the lemon law come into effect? What do I do here? I'm not quite sure how to handle this as I've never experienced anything like this before with a brand new car.

Oh, and it only has 8,500 miles on it.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Adrian

Record each start attempt with your phone so you have documentation and keep a journal or data do you can show frequency.
You'll have to do some research on your States laws, but I doubt you could claim lemon law unless it gets worse.

Does it make a difference if you turn the power on (but not engine) and delay a bit to let the fuel pump prime for a few seconds before starting? My car sometimes fails to start on hot days if I just turn the key directly to start without letting the pump prime.
