Exclamation STI Flashers Wont turn off

Thanks for looking, basics are 06 STI COBB Stage 2 to include Turbo back exh, SF intake and air box, AP stage 2 map, short shifter. Car has 60k engine is factory replacement with less than 10k--with 3rd new turbo.

Wife was driving car to drop off keys at work, stopped in front, turned on flashers, turned off car, got out and set factory security with fob. When she came out she was unable to turn off flashers with switch on column. I had her try all basic things I thought she could do. I drove there and finally had to pull flasher/horn/turn signal fuse and drove car home. I searched web for few hours and found some flasher problems but none the same. My first instinct was bad switch so I pulled dash/column apart to get to switch. Once I could get my face to the switch I can hear it sounding like it is working--when switched it makes sound in relay as if it is trying to turn off. I have done other things like trying to reset computer with no change. The only other thing that I can think of is to replace flash/turn relay. Only avail from dealer, $60, and week to get.

    Thanks for any suggestions.
