    Problem with new brakes

Hi guys as I said yesterday I brought some Godspeedbrakes with kevlar pads, all come today but iv got one problem !!! Pic below is the discs and pads

But the rears in the car are only half the thickness of the ones that have been sent ??

Is this normal to have skinny discs on a rear of a subaru impreza wrx import 2001 reg ?

Any advise would be great thankyou.

You're saying you have single discs in the rear but were sent vented discs, and that you are in the UK?

Hi yes I love in the uk the car is a import,I just order discs from Godspeedbrakes and they said they was the right ones, now I can see there not, what do u need to convert the rear brakes to 2pot or is it worth just sticking as they are, might just for the fronts.

OK to convert to 2-pot rears you will need rotors, pads, 2-pot calipers, and a conversion kit typically. For example:

You will also have to make sure your wheels are large enough to fit the new brake hardware.

On US model New Age cars this is not an uncommon mod. Many people convert to "solid" brake lines too since it's all apart anyway. You will end up needing brake fluid too most likely. So if you want your car on the road ASAP you need to visit a wrecker for the parts at the very least -- or source them new. Otherwise keep your existing rear brakes.
