    What is this?

I was removing the trim on the drivers side footwell last night and I noticed this green connector disconnected. Does anyone know what this is used for?

I'm not sure if got disconnected when I pulled the trim off or maybe when I installed the power cable for my stereo back in the summer. I also have an aftermarket alarm so its possible someone else also unplugged it.

From what I can tell everything in the car is working.

Test connector. Search for it in the forum, it's been again and again. Leave disconnected. \\

Edit: NO, that's on older models. Looks like some retrofit. Follow the wires and see where they go...
You can't have everything - where would you put it?

Pretty sure that's for use in diagnostics. A tuner/dealer/etc would use it. It's supposed to be unconnected.

Oh, you may be right. That's weird, cause it looks just like them.

You could be right about it being the test connector, the upper green end in the photo does right into the wiring harness. The lower green I believe also did but I would need to look again.
