Changed spark plugs, now engine rattle at end of throttle cycle - 2005 WRX

I changed my spark plugs yesterday with NGK Iridiums and also installed a new fuel filter. Put everything back together, ran fine, but now I'm getting a rattle at the end of a throttle cycle. If I rev up to anything over about 1500 rpm, as the throttle drops back down, there is a rattle from the passenger side, sounds like it might be coming from the head or something. Could I have overtightened the plugs or something?

Did you move anything else and have something like a heat shield rattle? Since it happens as you get off the gas it's probably something like that...
You can't have everything - where would you put it?

I didn't manually gap them as they come at the correct gap (so they say anyway) .030"

On that side, I only removed the air intake box. I wondered the same thing since there's no rattle when applying throttle, only as it winds down.

you should always check the gap on new spark plugs.

Did you figure out where the noise was coming from?

Make sure you got them tight enough too. If they aren't, they could be leaking

Also check your coil packs. Had an issue on deceleration with a coil pack. Hopefully you already have it solved ????
