    Help Identify Oil Leak

    Members,

While changing accessory belts in my 2005 WRX I discovered a slight oil leak. It is below the alternator, front center of the motor. It is getting oil onto the timing belt cover. I have attached a picture. Click image for larger version.

It's either the power steering pump or the top of the oil pump. Leaning towards it being the PS pump. I'd wash the area with brake cleaner and run it to find out for sure. Good luck.
