    WRX Buying Guide help!

    Hi there

    Total newby so apologies if this has been covered many times before!

    I am looking to buy a 2005 wrx full service history 57k miles etc etc ....

    Can anyone advise on what I should look out for and advise on any common faults I should be aware of !? Links to similar threads would be much appreciated

    I've heard the 2004's have a tendancy to suck up heads, not sure about 2005's, anyone have any imput on this? Also, the uppipe from the exhaust manifold to the turbo can have issues... See the thread in Engine mods about the uppipe. its titled "Attn. '02-'05 WRX Owners: The Importance of the Uppipe Mod" Couldnt figure out the hyperlink... sorry!

    Oh right I'll have a look! I think from what I've read a well serviced looked after wrx can last 100k plus miles!!?

    Any subaru is good for 200k+ if well maintained and not drove like a ***** on a good night its whole life.
