    loud tick coming from motor

    motor seems to have a loud tick. from what ive read this seems to be normal for subarus. I have attached a video. please let me know if this is abnormal and if I have something to worry about

    My bugeye sounds like that, and so does another that I know of locally. I've pretty much convinced myself that it's just the injectors.

    thank you for the feedback. can you here your tick from the inside of the cab while driving? mine is really loud and completely noticeable from the cab while driving always.

    doesnt sound too bad once you back out of the engine. good mike on whatever your shooting with shots like that slaughter my phone's mike.

    mods? or untuned mods?

    my engine sounded like it threw a rod and was mashing valves(thankfully not!) when a pulley on my timing belt blew out on me. but it also squeeled like mad! terrible noise. like forks on chalkboards and motor blowing noise at the same time. yours sounds great lol
    when my friends come up, i hear, "you sold the camarrrroooh.....HOLY BLEEP A WRX!"
    Ya has that effect on me too.

    mostly stock internals. rebuild was from previous owner about 18k miles ago. I have about 13k in recipts on the build from cobb performance. ARP head studs, all perrin tubing, perrin FMIC, perrin wastegate, garret turbo (running 24 ibs) aftermarket adjustable dampers and coils, HKS turbo exhaust, tuned on cobb access port, fully caged, NRG quick release with MOMO steering wheel, and alotttt more..
