2001 Bugeye Subaru Impreza RX 2.0 Problem

Hi all, I bought this car approximately a month ago, and about a week or two after driving it I noticed a squeak. I can only notice this when it's idling so I'm not sure if it happens when I'm actually driving but whenever the clutch isn't engaged I get a really loud squeaking noise coming from the engine bay. As soon as you do so much as just touch the clutch it goes away. No idea what this is so if anyone has any ideas please post them. Hoping I don't need a new clutch

It could be the clutch throw out bearing or release bearing.
