    All weather mats

I apologize if this is in the wrong place but I just bought a 13 wrx limited with the all weather mats. I noticed that when you have the gas pedal down, it picks up the edge of the mat. It scared me the first time because the mat kept the gas pedal down for a second. Anyone have this issue?

Yes, the 2 holes line up with the pegs. I feel like the end where the gas pedal is should be longer to prevent this. I'll take a picture to make it a bit more clear.

What happens is when you put the gas pedal to the floor then release, it catches the end of the mat and covers the gas pedal.

Edit: I just noticed that the dealer put these mats on top of the originals. I'm going to remove those and see if that helps.

Holy Cow! I would be pissed....there are literally signs in most service departments that say NOT to do this!

If that doesnt fix your problem see if there is a part number on them. they may be for a different subaru...ie forester, tribeca. they look just like the ones on my 11 wrx though

Yea, that did it. The clearance seems to be the way it should be now. I also noticed the warning on the all weather mats that state not to do that. I'm going to have a nice talk with my salesman.

Fail. Looks like the only way to make it up to you would be a no-cost SPT exhaust
