    2004 WRX headlight switch/relay issue?

I've had a sort of recurring issue that i want to track down because it's getting worse. I think it is either the relay or the switch and wanted some input to see if anyone has had this issue. Basically what it does is i will have my headlights on and go to signal a lane change/turn and something causes the headlights to flicker. I've only had them stay off until i touched the switch again once. I get annoyed when i'm following someone and i turn my signal on to merge and pass them and my headlights flicker at them. They're probably going "wth is this guys problem?". When they flicker there is a clicking sound coming from around the glove box. Do you think it's a relay or something, or do you think the contacts on my switch are worn? Car has 210k on it.

Wingless alas. Too bad it took a 50 ton truck to make it happen.

Pretty much sounds like a switch issue.

DUDE, I joined this forum just to respond to this thread lol but my 03 wrx does this as well. It's a common problem I guess and it has to do with the switch kinda wearing out but luckily you can fix it without spending money. I found this here --> Headlights flickering when using turn signals | Honest Bob's Sleeper Cell and it may help you. I'm gonna try it when I have free time but I guess it works! Good luck and be patient when cleaning the switch!!
