    Rough idle issue

Ok so I'm having an issue with my 2002 wrx during idle. Well the idle basically won't stay steady and fluctuates. Sometimes up and sometimes down. And every few seconds the exhaust will whistle. Also when I pull to a stop light and engage the clutch to shift my engine will stall out.
I have exedy clutch and a lightweight flywheel.
I have tried swapping out the maf with a friends and it did the same thing.
I am now thinking it may be the iacv? What do you guys think, any other things that may be causing this. My buddy says he thinks there may be a short in the harness somewhere.

So the only mods you have are a flywheel and clutch?
