Passenger window switch not working, replaced, still not..

Hey everyone, thanks for your time.

So I bought my 02 wrx wagon a few moths ago and finally got around to fixing the passenger side window switch. The passenger side(front) window would only roll up from the drivers' side. I did a little searching and decided to get a new switch for the passenger side. I got a used one and installed it just now and it worked momentarily....and then seemed to simply die out pretty quickly (like 2 minutes). Now it again won't work at all. Any advice? Thank you
