    Differences between different JDM versions

    Hi,

Does anyone know where I can find a link / info detailing the specification differences between JDM motor versions ?
Other than size (2.0, 2.5 which is obvious) for example EJ20T version 7 vs. version 8, EJ25T version 7, 8, etc
like internal measurements, compression ratio, bore, stroke, camshaft specs, the turbo (VF 46, 40, etc)...

(Feel free to get technical, my bf builds race-cars and since I got the Shoopster, he wants to create a monster. For himself. He totally wants one now, he's as obsessed as I am and has spent the last 2 weeks researching WRX/STI motors )

Links/info for USDM are welcome too. Thanks again.

    This is all I got.

You don't need a JDM engine to build a "monster". Infact, most don't use a full JDM motor due to the amount of time and money it takes trying to get parts for these motors. You can't just go down to Autozone and get what you need. Nor can you just get parts from your local Subaru dealer for JDM motors.
