Car randomly goes into limp mode

So since I bought my 02 wrx sportwagon the car has randomly gone into limp mode twice. Once last month and again this morning. Just started it up one time and bam. No cel thrown. All I do is disconnect and reconnect the battery and it works great. Any ideas what to look for. Car currently has downpipe catless up pipe, 3 inch turbo back exhaust, cobb stage 2 tune. Thanks

How do you know it's in "limp mode" with no CEL thrown?

Anyway, log your Dynamic Advance Multiplier with your AccessPort and post the result.
