Videos are up in mobile format. Remove the M. in the link and it still isn't working.

I'm willing to bet you shredded second gear though...

What do you think it is? Bent valve piston rod?

Sounds like a valve rattling around in there honestly...but internal knowledge of that is a little further beyond me.

^That is a curious fact. Apparently whatever happened isn't causing any issue that shows up on any of the sensors.

I agree with Mikie but it is really hard to tell for sure. You could check the timing without tearing the motor down, but I kind of would of thought it would throw a misfire code if it was far enough out to have the valves interfering with the piston. I'd have someone listen/look in person first, but you can pretty much count on the motor coming out and getting torn down before that is cured and you definitely shouldn't run/drive it any more if you want to try to reuse any of that motor.

Is there oil in the coolant?

You only have 30K on the car? It is a bit of a moral dilemma, when you did blow the shift, but if there actually isn't any oil in there you were doomed anyway. I kind of think a dealer tow to confirm the presence of oil in there (it could be down off the stick but not that low really) would be reasonable. If it is just a bit low I'd say it is on you, but otherwise I wouldn't feel too bad suggesting that it is on them to tear it down and see if what failed could be contributed to low oil levels. Really it is pretty much on them to fix it anyway if they didn't put any oil in.

Someone forget to tighten the drain plug? Happened to a friend and the dealer ended up giving them a new car. It was the first oil change iirc
