    boost fluctuation

    Please help I am having a real bad boost fluctuation on my 02 wrx. At wot boost build up a little over .1mpa then back to .05 then back to .1 and you can feel it in the car. Car has dc sports tbe. 06 turbo and ic bov doesnt recirculate back to turbo other than that all stock. Any idea can help thanks.

    Yes stock tune I was told restrictor pill or bcs. Just trying to get a little more certainty of which it could be.

    Are you looking to stay stock? Do you have the ability to do any data log?

    Without any form of data logging, it's a bit hard to troubleshoot (at least for myself).

    It looks like you have a much larger turbo and IC on the car, but didn't change anything else but the BOV. If that is the case, I wouldn't be surprised if your engine was pulling massive timing and/or you are out of fuel injector. Did I understand your mod list correctly?

    Well the turbo is from an 06 wrx still a tdo4 from what I was told and so is the intercooler from an 06 wrx. The bov is also stock just doest recirculate back to turbo turbo inlet is plugged on recirculation hose.

    Gotcha. I'm not familiar with the bugeyes, as you can infer. If the turbo is the same size, then you should be okay.

    Did this suddenly start happening? Or was it gradual over time?

    Ever since I got ive had it for about 6 months. Everytime at wot boost fluctuates pretty bad.

    My guess would actually be either the pill or the wastegate actuator. Do you know anyone who has an '02/'03 WRX in your area with the stock turbo on it?

    Yeah. I heard about that too what do I do to the wastegate actuator? something about turning it or I dont know. Do you know anything about that?
