Take it to the dealership! That's a warranty issue
Sounds like something weird happened with the fuel level sensor.

So I got gas yesteday (Exxon 93) and filled up tank. Drove about 50 miles then was home for the evening. This morning on the way to work after about 10 miles, my fuel gauge just dropped to empty and the fuel light was flashing. I knew unless my gas tank just exploded that I was not out of gas but I figured I'd drive to the nearest gas station to check anyway. After about a mile of this I was making a right turn into the gas station when suddenly the gauge flew back up to almost full and the light went out. I got out and checked the gas cap and it was tight. I remember specifically giving it two clicks at the station yesterday. Any ideas? Pretty weird...

^^^ if under warranty take it to the dealership. Sensor may be having problems or a loose connection somewhere. Im not too sure how the gas level sensors are set up but has to be something with that. Dealership may tell ya you need some new gas level light fluid or something like that lol.
Sounds like a short in the level sensor, or somewhere in the wiring up to the cluster. Take a trip to the dealer for sure.
