    Help!

    Im new here and im sure you have seen or even answered this question before. But my wrx is idleing funny. Almost like its about to stall. I've heard its the intake, or maf. Do you guys hae any insite to my problem?

    You have any way to datalog the car to see what's going on? Anyone local you can swap MAF units with?

    Its a 2004 wrx wagon. I have a cbe, bov, and turbo timer. I dont know of anyone i could switch maf with.

    So i got in there and put a new filter in and pulled out the "air resinator box" and she is running like a dream now. She just couldnt breath!

    Also, you can take out the turbo timer. It is useless on these cars.

    Ya I've turned it off and am planning on taking it out and selling it.

    The old filter was SUPER dirty, it was straight brown. And it is idling smooth with no more stuttering.

    Should then also be running a LOT better under load, is it?

    Ah, the filter I see. I thought you meant the resonator was the problem.
