    Security cranking issue?

Hey guys...new to the forum. Just bought an 06 wrx yesterday and am very satisfied with the car. The only issues with the car is 1....Sometimes when i try to start the car, it acts like im not pushing the clutch all the way to the floor. It wont turn over and doesnt crank. When I press the unlock button on the clicker it starts right away. The car seems to keep locking itself. Is this some sort of security system that disables the car? and there is a boost guage in the car that doesnt light up or read boost. Im thinking its just not hooked up. I will look at some stickies to see what needs to be done about that.

no lol its stock. it only locks itself when i get like 10 feet away from the car. and it wont crank if the security light is flashing on the dash. but when I hit the unlock button several times the light goes out and it starts. its just annoying sometimes. doesnt happen all the time though.
