Hmm...I once had the dealership spill oil on my engine when they did an oil change (in my old blazer) and I had a similar experience that you are describing. Had kind of more of a burning plastic smell though.

I picked up my car today from the dealership. They did an oil change and tire rotation. I noticed later that day that while driving home in the snow, the heat coming out of the vents had a raw gas smell to it. It was set on a low setting around 78. I cut the heat and the smell seemed to vanish. Turned it back on, and the smell returned. Any ideas anyone???

So I checked under my hood this morning and it turns out the tard that did my oil change forgot to put the cap back on. Found it sitting on top of that plastic bay protector. Luckily I could squeeze my arm down and reach it. I would expect this type of work at jiffy lube but not a Subaru dealership. What a joke.

If oil sprayed all over the engine bay, you should take the car back & have them clean it up.

Yeah I'm definitely going to contact the dealership.
Also now I'm feeling a bump, bump, bump in the right tire it seems. Almost like when a large rock is stuck in your tire. Could this be from the tire rotation they also did and the tire needs to smooth out its treads or is this a ridiculous assumption and they f'd this up too?

Check your tire pressures as well. May not hurt to take the wheels off and re torque them by hand though.
If any oil spilled in the bay.. I'd follow Sasquatchs engine bay cleaning instructions.

You mentioned that it snowed. The vibration in the tires could also be from snow in the wheel well.
