    Seatbelt Light problem

Well the seat belt light will come on when the car runs its checks on all the systems (Key on engine off, or even key on engine running.) But it goes off and wont come back on. It won't light up when i unbuckle my seat belt when I'm sitting in the car. I'm pretty sure it should stay on too even if I'm not sitting in the car. I replaced the driver side buckle yesterday did not fix the issue hoping some one else has had this issue any ideas would be great thank you all....

There is a way to bypass the seat belt safety light. I did it on mine so when I'm idling it won't keep yelling at me. I would reset the ECU by disconnecting the battery and holding the brakes to drain the leftover power.

Resetting it is how you get it back to normal.
