    A/C button not staying illuminated

    I went to go turn on my defrosters today and the a/c button was not illuminated and when i push it in, it turns green, but turns off right after.

    When I purchased my car the owner said he just had the A/C recharged and it was working fine before. Today it turned on and off and worked sometimes.

    IS it the button? Or do I have a bigger problem?

    Does cold air come out? The one reason to recharge the AC is a leak,
