    Blown turbo?

A blown turbo will not cause the car to stall.

    Blown turbo?

How did your friend determine it was burning oil?

It was blowing blue smoke apparently. But I checked by the air filter and there was snow all around it so I figured it was possible it sucked some snow. But idk if it would start again if it hydro locked

Check your charge piping, specifically the connections at the turbo and the throttle body.

If you really were blowing blue smoke, though, you may a blown engine, rather than just a turbo.

sounds like a motor to me without further info. sometimes when your drifting in circles the oil can climb one side of the pan and you can starve your motor. it happens, look it up

The engine doesn't have maybe 10k on it so that would be crap. But it didn't sound like the engine was blown it sounded like a vacume leak almost and then it just stalled. At first I thought I blew a hose off.

Mileage doesn't matter, it's how well it's been used, maintained, and tuned. Also, the sound of a blown engine varies depending on exactly what went wrong. You were drifting around on the snow which can cause issues with a LOT of different things on these cars, including potential engine damage.

I highly doubt the turbo just gave out, though it is possible. It's more likely a blown hose, but could also be you just blew your engine by taking a risk. If it's burning oil like mad when it's running, it's almost definitely a blown motor.

Well I'm certainly not discarding your answers. But I hadent even been drifting for very long at all I couldn't see it being enough to cause such damage as that. I can't even be certain that it was burning oil just yet.

    Get a compression/leakdown test. That's all I can say.

Is there a such thing as driving correctly and casually drifting in snow? That's an oxymoron if I've ever heard one...like jumbo shrimp.

Excessive rotation/acceleration of any sort can cause the oil to slosh into the side of the oil pan resulting in a temporary oil starvation event that can do damage to your motor. This could also be correlation. What mods are on the car?
