The other day I decided to beat on my 2011 wrx a bit. I came to a stop sign on a back road, turned off my trac control, reved and popped the clutch. ive only done this a few times since i had the car, but this time my front wheels seemed to hop a bit and I heard a kind of creaking/cracking noise, its hard to explain. but it deff came from the front end, almost sounded like it came from the dash. but since then it seemed like my steering is loose, but idk if its just in my head ot for real, anyone have any insight other then not to beat on your car?

Poor car..... Take it to the dealership and tell them what you are telling us and see what they have to say.![]()
Anyone in the area you can "swap cars" with to see if it's placebo?

Lol. I might be in your area, but certainy wouldn't be "swapping" cars with somebody who drives their own like that.
My post was productive, I'm basically saying the same thing that all of the stickys on the site say.....A wrx can't handle launching.
