I just bought a 2010 wrx wagon and was wondering what the numbers by the outside temp are?
It has a 1/100 thing next to it. It seems to vary depending in how much throttle I use. Something with the turbo maybe? I'm not sure, if anyone could clarify this for me that would help.

If you have a stock setup, that is probably the stock miles-per-gallon calculator. So it might read 27.5 on the highway, or (if you have a commute like me) 20.2 city driving. That sound like it matches? I'm not sure though since that only reads in 1/10s, and not 1/100s.

Ah, didn't notice you were in Canada at first. In that case, I don't know.

I know that in the UK they typically measure their fuel consumption in liters per hundred kilometers as opposed to the American standard of miles per gallon. So that's my guess, fuel economy in L/100 km.

It is fuel usage in litres per 100 kilometers. If you are showing the main odometer the reading will be instantaneous usage (I'm not going to use the term economy) and if you are displaying one of the trip odometers then the reading will be average usage for that trip. If you didn't get an Owner's Manual with the car I would recommend that it is a good investment.

Now that I'm looking at it, it seems obvious now. Thanks for the help!
