    Fuel Rails? or Check Valves?

I think my subie, 06wrx, isn't getting fuel pressure in the engine. Are there check valves in the 06 wrx? (What I mean by "check valve" is a spot in the fuel line where the fuel is allowed to go one way but not the other way, sort of a one way street for fuel, so that way it keeps the pressure in the engine)

Or is this a fuel rail problem? maybe in need of repair or replacement?

    any info is appreciated

How are you sure your engine isn't getting fuel?

I would start by actually verifying fuel pressure and go from there. That is how you actually go about diagnosing an issue.

If you ARE having fuel pressure issues (should check with a gauge), then I would suspect the fuel pump/controller/wiring. It could also be an issue with injectors.. but you haven't said what your symptoms are, so really it could be anything (honestly, probably not fuel related).

the car doesn't start sometimes, after i drive it for a while it doesn't start. Starts up fine when cold, but when its hot it doesn't start, only cranks, and the overly loud noise of the fuel pump leads me to think it's not pressurizing. the fuel pump should be fine because I just replaced it a few months ago. I found no shorts or blown fuses in any of the fuse boxes.
