So today I had my radio off cruising down the hwy at 70- 75 mph. I noticed a slight rattle coming from my transmission, you can hear it around the shifter, it gets louder as when I accelerate, and its most noticeable from 3rd, 4th nd 5th gear..its a 2006 wrx, any help or suggestions would be great, thanks

Its possible you may even just have a loose heatshield or something like that under the car...

It's a Cobb short shifter, and the clutch only has 40,000 on it...I'm thinking that its the bearings on the mainshaft

I checked that, its tight
I pulled my tranny, and cracked it open, I saw chunks of metal in the transfer case. and noticed the shims for the spider gears that are in the center diff are missing, i think i found my problem
