Hi, just got approved for a loan to buy my buddies 2003 WRX, its his baby but he lost his license for 5 years and can't drive it, his loss my gain. I'm making this thread to get some general maintenance advice, before I finish the cosmetic stuff he was working on or even think about suspension or engine work I was wondering what fluids you would recommend for a tune up as well as air filters, brake pads and spark plugs. first thing you want to do is change the uppipe if your buddy didn't already and also read as much as possible on mods before you do them. There are a lot of threads on here that are great for n00bs like myself and you.

Thanks for the advice lol I've been looking into some aftermarket sites, I wont have the car for a few weeks sales tax is going to kill me so I need a few paychecks to get the sales tax, insurance and registration all set probably add up to like 1100 lol
