    Red face wrx idle probs

    Hi I'm new to this I've just bought a 95 wrx and when I drive it to the lights or junctions the car cuts out it does it even when I put the clutch down but runs fine just on tick over can anyone help me try and solve the probably please

    Idle Air Control (IAC). Sounds like its either really dirty or you should replace it.

    Need a lot more information than that...let's start off with knowing some basics: what mods? mileage? up to date on it's service? CELs?

    It has no mods apart from a dump valve 100k miles had new engine and gearbox oil just before I got it but I don't know about a full service and it does seem to miss fire abit aswell and I haunt read the miss fire thread

    That is the only mod it has I replied to the other thread sorry if I'm doing this all wrong first time I've ever been on a forum I want to get the car running right then I will be asking for ideas on good engine mods buddy

    Right.... but what does the valve dump from? wastegate and BPV can both be considered "Dump valves"
