MISFIRE ( I know I know i read the sticky) and ALIGNMENT question

Ok guys so I have a 2002 wrx all stock except for a forester suspension. A week ago I got a misfire cel for cyl 2 so I did as donkey said switched the coil pack from 2-4 and now a week later the cel came back and this time it's for cyl 4. So can I assume it's the coil pack? Cheapest I found is $75 at rock auto for 1.


Other question is like I said I have forested suspension as far as forester struts and I believe springs too not sure I bought it that way. Well I'm trying to get it aligned and the shop said I need new camber bolts but holy **** they are expensive! They told me I need 8? 2 for each strut. Is this true? I read in another post that u shouldn't Change the top on the fronts and the bottom on the rear? Jus wanna make sure before I spend money. Also if I want to get stock struts and springs in the future will I have to get new bolts again? Or can I re use them. Sorry for the long post thanks a lot ahead of time for your input!!!

That's a good bet on the coil pack since switching them produced the same problem on the new cylinder.

Can you post some pictures and part numbers on the suspension to verify exactly what you have? Also, what is the car used for? Is it just a daily driver for mixed highway/city use?

Ill post pics in the am, but as far as part numbers.... I'm not sure what it could be I bought the car with these struts already installed. And Its my daily driver I use city and hwy. btw thanks for the reply

Well I think I fixed the misfire just need some input about the alignment. Can some one please chime in? Im tired of driving with bad alignment and the shop is gonna want to charge sooo much just to order and install camber bolts.

I'm sure you can find the bolts cheaper online. Then give them to the alignment guy and say git r done!
